Findings and Losings
Taylor, Alan
About the work
These duos were written for the Repetitiousness Piano Duo Players of New York state. The duos are intended to be performed as a set, in the order they are numbered, but would work well if performed individually.
Technical notes
The piece is for two players on one piano. There are five duos, each lasting 5 minutes. None have particular technical difficulties, although most of them would require good amateur pianists. The fourth is much simpler, and could be played by basic amateurs with a good touch. The fifth is probably the hardest, and involves playing dense chord clusters with all four hands close together.
