Just Another is a collage piece written for a concert entitled “Off the Wall”. Inspired by this title, thevarious components are all various materials generated from the idea of bricks, brickwork andwalls: the patterns, and names, of various brick wall patterns (“bonds”); the hymn tune Blesséd be the Fountain, which was adapted in the First World War as the soldier’s song Whiter than the Whitewash on the Wall, and a well known song lyric about walls.
