About the work

Kairos and Chronos are Greek and Roman descriptions of different concepts of time, regarded as being in unresolved conflict. The work is divided by strings and voices on the one hand, and wind on the other, to illustrate this tension. Strings and voices use an archaic contrapuntal formula which repeats and flows. The wind section interrupts this.
