The piece is based on a paragraph from Italo Calvino’s novel ‘Invisible Cities’. the piece should be seen as a fragment itself, and is made up of many short sections.Like the book, it has a serious intention but is also playful, the overall sound should be as precise as possible but with a dancing quality.

The piece has treble, alto, and bass lines for pitched instruments, a drum line, and two lines for voice and wooden percussion
