About the work

“Som ett eko av mig sj�lv” means “Like an echo of myself” in Swedish.

While working on this piece I had a vague feeling of the music being

very far away, perhaps the echo of a music from long ago. Fragments of

a brittle and faded chorale in the piano appear throughout the music

and spread slowly to the other instruments before disappearing into

silence. SR
