About the work

This is a collection of short piano pieces, and should be seen as a work in progress. The title relates to Debussy’s “Preludes” for piano, in which he places a ‘suggestion’ at the end of each piece rather than a title at the start.

Technical notes

There are some suggested tempi, phrasing, and dynamics, but these aspects of the pieces are left to the player’s discretion. The nine pieces may be played in any order, in any combination, and separately.
