About the work
The piece is an improvised piece in 3 movements, each of which could last anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. There are detailed text instructions for each movement.
Movement I is based on players reacting to other players’ sounds.
Movement II starts with free improvisation and ends when all players are on the same pitch.
Movement III starts with all players on a central pitch and then gradually moving to the top or bottom of their instrument.
