About the work

The 10 short pieces can be played as single items or grouped if desired. The idea was to provide some music for two violins and a cello which is technically undemanding: the repertoire for this combination of instruments is not perhaps very wide.

Technical notes

Written to be playable in first position so that as much attention as possible can be focussed on matters of ensemble and intonation. The titles may give some indication of the character of each piece
