Open Score Club
Our Open Score Club meets twice a month (on the first Sunday of the month at 10am, and the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm – online initially until we can return to face-to-face rehearsals), and is an opportunity to explore experimental scores in a friendly and informal atmosphere. You can propose scores for future sessions, or just sit back and see what CoMA’s nationwide library has to offer. The sessions are led by composer Dr Ruta Vitkauskaite.
We run a number of projects throughout the year, such as group compositions and graphic score explorations, which involve a number of rehearsals over an intensive period followed by a performance. Members of CoMA Glasgow have priority to access these projects, but non-members are also welcome to attend. These projects run on a pay-what-you-can-afford donation basis. Read more about some of our recent projects – Ether/Real, our Postcard Pieces, and Remote Connections.
Come along for a taster session before you commit to joining. We hold our Open Score Club twice a month. Click here to register your interest in a taster session, and we will send you joining information by email in advance of our next date. If you would like to join us as a subscriber after attending, you can pay-what-you-can-afford using the links on this page.
Our subscription is by monthly direct debit on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis. We would suggest a minimum of £5 per month, but if you can pay more we would encourage you to pay it forward and support others who may not be in a position to pay.
Please select your preferred monthly rate below, and follow the instructions to complete the joining process. You will be asked for your direct debit information, and then be taken to a final form to complete your registration.
Non-UK subscriber or can’t set up Direct Debits? Click here to set up your subscription using PayPal instead.
If you have any problems setting up your direct debit or subscription, or would like to pay another amount per month, please email email@example.com
Not ready to join yet? Read below about joining us for a taster session.
We ask that all CoMA Glasgow subscribers also become a member of CoMA for £3/month (or as a Friend of CoMA if you are not based in Scotland). By also joining CoMA as a member, you are helping to contribute to the central running costs of the CoMA organisation, which provides the following benefits to CoMA Glasgow:
- Access to a vast scores library
- Operational support and guidance
- Public liability insurance
- Submissions to charity regulators on our behalf
- Links with major professional performers and composers
- Supporting access nationwide to contemporary music
