KNM Campus Days 2021 will be taking place at the Klangwerkstatt Berlin – Festival für Neue Musik in November 2021. We are again planning to share our involvement with CoMA members. A date for everyone’s diary because whether in Berlin or not, you will be able to join in with the premiere of a major new work by James Saunders who is composing it for hybrid performance – live in Berlin and live online.
For those who can be there, we have decided to base the concert and associated rehearsals on having one large Allcomers ensemble, thereby taking the pressure off individual ensembles whilst Covid uncertainties persist. Due to the size of the hall, there will be a limit of 40 musicians, so booking, which will be available soon, will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Online participation is unlimited!
Programme
The first half of the concert on 13 November will be a CoMA Allcomers programme, performing pieces by Alexander Campkin, Joanna Bailie and Stefan Streich. James Saunders’ premiere will be in the second half.
Campus Days kicks off on Thursday evening with a KNM Berlin and KNM campus concert. Friday during the day will be the dress rehearsal for Saturday’s concert.
Thursday 20.00 KNM Berlin + KNM campus concert
Friday 10-18.00 Tutti rehearsals
Saturday rehearsal time tbc
20.00 CoMA + KNM Berlin + KNM campus tutti concert
Rehearsals

They will be 19:00-21:00 Central European Time (18:00-20:00 BST) on 14, 28 June, 20 September, 4, 25 October 2021.
