Streaming Blue III

Following the success of part I & II, CoMA Manchester is back with part three of STREAMING BLUE. Join us in Alexandra Park for the third event in our series, launched in summer 2021. Streaming Blue explores our local connection to waterways through music, installation and discussion and is curated with local artists and Groundwork Manchester. This event is built around the stories of local residents, collected throughout 2021. Graphic scores by children at Crumpsall Youth Group, drawn after a visit to the Irwell, will also be on display and interpreted by the ensemble. We are extremely excited to present our Streaming Blue commission 'Exploitation of a river: an Ode to Moston Brook' by Kelly Jayne Jones, supported by our generous Crowdfunders, alongside the world premiere of graphic scores by Isabel Benito Gutierrez and works by Sarah Hennies and artist Lorna Green.
