Support us

Our Friends Scheme, along with Ensemble Membership provides CoMA’s only current source of regular funding, enabling us to continue to provide opportunities for musicians of all ages and abilities to participate in contemporary music, develop our training and support programme for emerging composers, extend our international links and run our flagship contemporary music summer school and the Festival of Contemporary Music for All.

Joining our Friends scheme underpins our very existence and is open to anyone who supports our aims  – whether they be members of our audiences, past participants of CoMA courses and ensembles, composers featured in the CoMA catalogue, music organisations or professional musicians.

Commissioning programme

We commission at least five works a year from both established and emerging talented composers. This programme, so vital to the success of our mission, has resulted in a unique and much valued collection of a thousand contemporary works suitable for a wide range of ensembles and abilities. These works are regularly used by music colleges and conservatoires, and performed by youth, amateur and professional ensembles in major international festivals such as Bath, The Huddersfield Contemporary and Sounds New.

You can contribute to the Commissions Fund by setting up a standing order (for regular contributions) or making an online transfer with the following details (note that this is a different account from the one used for membership and events).
