I AM SWIMMING – come and play day and evening performance

As part of the Festival Of Contemporary Music for All, musicians in the Bristol area are invited to take part in a day of new music making.

During the day on Saturday 5 May, participants will join players from CoMA Bristol and singers of the Gurt Lush Choir in a very special all-day workshop of a newly commissioned work by renowned composer Nigel Osborne.  The piece, I am Swimming, is inspired by testimony from refugees fleeing across the Mediterranean from persecution in their own countries.  The workshop will be followed by an evening concert.

The day will be led by the composer and conductor William Goodchild.
