CoMA Bristol, the University of Bristol New Music Ensemble and the Gurt Lush Choir come together in a concert of new music. In the second part of the concert, an all-comers orchestra made up of musicians from the Bristol area are conducted by William Goodchild in a performance of Nigel Osborne’s major new work I am Swimming.
I am Swimming is inspired by testimony from refugees fleeing across the Mediterranean from persecution in their own countries.
Expect exciting sounds and top playing in this snapshot of Bristol’s buzzing musical scene.
The concert is free (with a retiring collection), and no booking is necessary.
