A Call for Players from the wider Yorkshire musical community – players of all ages, ability and standard are invited to Leeds College of Music on Saturday 3 March to take part in a collaborative day of music making as we celebrate the 2018 CoMA Festival.

A day of workshops and rehearsals held at The Venue, Leeds College of Music, leading up to a collaborative performance of Stephen Montague’s Dark Sun.

The work is extremely accessible, and written for a flexible ensemble made up of any combination of instruments, and not restricted to size or musical ability.

We are reaching out to our local music hubs, arts centres, orchestras and ensembles to create a collaborative performance of Dark Sun to include musicians of all ages from our wider community in Yorkshire.

Along side the performance of Dark Sun, there will be performances from the local Leeds CoMA group, and a recently composed work from the Junior LCoM staff and students.
