Overview
To celebrate its 10th Anniversary CoMA Maastricht are organising the Festival Nieuwe Noten – Composing for and by All. Due to all the uncertainties around Covid-19 it will now take place on Saturday 1 October in Maastricht.
During this festival the main focus lies on composing. In the run up to the festival Dutch and Belgian composers could take part in the ‘Open Score’ Composition Contest.
During the Festival Day a variety of composing workshops will take place, aiming at amateur musicians (singers included) from the age of five and onwards. And those who just like to sing or play contemporary ‘Open Score’ music can join the Festival Choir or Festival Ensemble.
