Overview

All abilities are welcome at our Allcomers event on Saturday 5th March at 1pm, in partnership with KEMS Macclesfield. We’ll be workshopping local composer Xia Leon Sloane’s and the leaves still grow (commissioned by CoMA for this festival) alongside Rzewski’s Les Moutons de Panurge. The music will be provided on sign-up, and you are very welcome to attend our rehearsal on Sunday 13th February (from 1.30pm until 3.00pm) where we will be having a look at these pieces. We welcome instruments and voices as well as those who wish to play small handheld percussion (provided).

The Allcomers event will culminate in an informal performance at 4pm.

If you fancy a chat before signing up, email Ellen at manchester@coma.org.

***We are also inviting Allcomers into our preparation of artist Lorna Green’s new video work ‘Big Stones’. We will be preparing this remotely, after success with this process during lockdown. If you’d like more information or to be involved, email Ellen at manchester@coma.org.***
