We regret that due to extreme weather conditions, this weekend’s activities have been postponed until later in the year.

As part of the Festival Of Contemporary Music for All, musicians in the Bristol area are invited to take part in a day of new music making.

During the day on Saturday 3 March, you will join players from CoMA Bristol and singers of the Gurt Lush Choir in a very special all-day workshop of a newly commissioned work by renowned composer Nigel Osborne.  The piece, I am Swimming, is inspired by testimony from refugees fleeing across the Mediterranean from persecution in their own countries.  The workshop will be followed by an evening concert.

Instrumentalists will be led on the day by the composer and conductor William Goodchild.  Singers will be directed by the Gurt Lush Choir’s Sam Burns.

Whether you already love new music, or you’re just curious to see what the fuss is about, here is a chance to take part in something amazing.
