Our Commitment

CoMA’s Commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Since 1993, CoMA has fostered a culture of musical creativity and inclusive collaboration throughout communities across the UK and beyond. We are committed to offering inclusive and welcoming environments throughout all that we do.

The word ‘All’ in our title is a continual motivation for us to always consider how we can be more inclusive and reach those who may not currently be engaging with CoMA activity.

We value everyone who engages with CoMA, whether it be as an audience member, participant, professional or amateur musician or project partner, and we actively encourage conversations that will challenge our approach and help us to continue growing together.

We know that we have a long way to go, and acknowledge that there will always be more to do. By openly publishing the data below, we are ensuring accountability on our part. This is the first step, and we will continue to update and grow this information going forward.

Our intention by sharing this data is to keep us striving to do better, whilst also encouraging others to have similar conversations about inclusion and representation within the arts sector.
