Celebration intended to be accessible to any ensemble with any number of any forces. It is part of our immediate pieces anthology of works that are performance-ready with just an hour of rehearsal.
The piece is a celebration of our instruments (including voices) and the relationship we have with them, rather than the music that we perform on them. It is an exploration of your instrument as a cherished object, and it is a physical piece, acknowledging the physicality of performance.
It is a quiet piece, contemplating the process of playing, rather than judging results. It is a celebration of the warmth, joy and sharing that creates a community of musicians.
