The condcutor is instructed not to be afraid of silence. The players are instructed not to be afraid of the conductor.

This is an experiment in textural sounds for any mixture of instrumentalists or vocalists. Players are split into two groups, each of which becomes a single polytonal instrument responding to every instruction from the conductor regarding volume, starting and stopping, and type of texture.
