Sunday, 14th July 2024

A concert of new and new-ish music moving from deep drones to bursts of bright activity, and back again

The Space
269 Westferry Road
London
E14 3RS. Starts 4:00 pm.

CoMA London’s next concert, ‘High Contrast’, explores a wide range of the most exciting contemporary orchestral and chamber music.

Classic pieces by John Cage, Mira Calix and Stockhausen, plus new music by Jasmine Morris, Atefeh Einali and Naomi McGillivray, lead the audience on a journey through deep drones and near silence, through bursts of brightness, energy and activity. Along the way the orchestra is augmented by electronics, whistles, combs and car horns. This is vibrant, innovative and thrilling music.

At The Space, 269 Westferry Road, London, E14 3RS, on Sunday 14 July. Concert begins at 4pm, ends at approximately 6pm, with an interval.

Tickets available online from The Space, or by phoning 020 7515 7799. Standard £14, concessions £8.
