Commissioning Programme

CoMA has spent 31 years supporting emerging-mid career composers and amateur musicians in the creation/performance of contemporary music. Central to this has been the need for suitable repertoire; works that are high quality, uncompromising in their artistic intent yet technically within the grasp of non-professional musicians. Through 300+ commissions, composition courses and collaborative projects, CoMA has supported thousands of creators and produced a unique catalogue of 800+ contemporary classical works.

You can contribute to the CoMA Commissions Fund by setting up a standing order (for regular contributions) or making an online transfer with the following details:
