Join CoMA’s two resident ensembles in the Netherlands: CoMA Maastricht and CoMA Eindhoven, for an afternoon of musical exploration. These ensembles are jointly organising a workshop in Splendor in Amsterdam to introduce local musicians to the CoMA concept: contemporary music that can be played by amateurs. The workshop will be led by Lucas Vis, a renowned conductor who has made his mark in professional contemporary music. The day ends with a joint concert.
The workshop will explore CoMA classics ‘Counting my numberless fingers’ by Alexander Campkin and ‘Melancholy Processional’ by Gabriel Jackson.
The workshop is from 12:00 noon to 4:30 PM and the concert from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Participation costs €10.00.
