Interested in exploring some new music, working with inspiring musicians and meeting fellow local music lovers? Enjoy a playful day of music-making as part of Festival of Contemporary Music for All 2024

You’ll have the chance to explore some exciting contemporary classical music from the CoMA Catalogue, for both voice and instruments.

All instruments, voice types, abilities and levels of experience welcome. The day is part of CoMA’s plans to start a regular ensemble in the North East – so come take part and help the group grow.

SCHEDULE

10 – 10.30am – arrival and registration

10.30am – welcome ‘Speed Meet’ session

11am – 1pm – vocal session with composer and performer Heloise Werner or instrumental session with North East based conductor James Weeks

1 – 2pm – lunch

2 – 4pm – joint vocal and instrumental session led by North East based conductor James Weeks

4 – 4.30pm – break

4.30 – 5.30pm – informal performance showcasing what you’ve created in the workshops

Optional extra:
6pm – RNS Moves Concert with Heloise Werner
